I highly suggest you to cancel your credit card and file dispute with your credit card company. Acaiburn company is a scam!
Just ring your bank and get them to issue you with a new card that will STOP these underhanded people getting away with FRAUD! Good luck
Dear Julia You are right this Acaiburn company is a scam I got a free trial and they have taken £42.00 out of my account I have just cancelled and I bet I get a LARGE phone bill as you cannot send emails they just come back I find this practice disgusting I am fuming

yes make sure to cancel your card as i allso throught i had cancelled account but there still took £37.71 of my card the next month . nightmare .. my credit card said that i can not stop them taking this of my cardas it is a contaced month payment unless i report card lost or stolen . Cancel your card and your overdraft facility if you have one. Your bank will give Acaiburn 31 days notice of cancellation of the payments. In this time they are free to keep taking from your account. Ask your bank for a Fraud report form to fill in. I lost £495 as I don’t use the account very often and they used my overdraft facility for 2 months before I noticed!!!! I feel like a fool but also dangerously angry!!!!

I seen the aid of Acai burn and ordered using the free trial offer. After I placed my order I decided the research the product. I came across a website telling me the same thing that acai burn was a scam. I was able to call my credit card company and cancel my card so that it would not be charged. On yesterday I received the product with no return address.

Blake,I too have been caught by this thieving lot of no-goods…but it gets worse. After receiving my free trial tub, I researched the product and decided to cancel. I wrote to the company and I wrote to my bank. Just received my statement and they’ve changed their name slightly! I shall now have to change my bank account unless can get them on fraud. Will check with my bank.I’ve read about this happening to other people,will keep you informed!
I too took the 14 trial, then I have found 3 jars delivered to me today, which I did not ask for. Checked my bank account and found they have taken two payments, one for £37 and the other for £34. Phoned my bank to stop anymore payments being taken out, also they are reporing it to their Fraud Squad. I did manage to get the company in America today and was told as soon as I return the tablets they sent, plus the others which are on their way, I will get both amounts refunded back into my account. Given numbers for returns, plus ladies name. So we will wait and see what happens. Tablets didn’t pissing work anyway, gone to weightwatchers. That does work! Only wanted to lose 8lbs anyway.
I too went for the free trial and found myself caught up in this scam. Had two amounts taken from my account within two weeks and more for something else…finally got through on the number given above and told them if they took anymore money I would be reporting them for fraud. I agree tablets don’t work either!!

Please call your credit card company and cancel it first. Also inform them that you did not authorize those charges!
I have found a very simple way around this insidious scam.
Call your credit card company and explain the fraud. They can close your account and instantly issue another card with slightly different details which means ACAI BURN CAN’T draw anymore money of a cancelled card.
I have done this with MBNA this evening and they will send me my new card in 10 days time.
I signed up for the ‘Acaislim’ and also for ‘life cleanse’ I only queried the online ‘talk to an agent via a messenger’ to find out why I had been charged $14 for the free trial to find out that was the international rate. Fortunately it was the agent that told me about the automatic collection from my credit car, because I asked what the normal cost with shipping would be.
I cancelled immediately via 0800 680 0623, but they said they would be unable to stop the warehouse sending the free trial.
I rang 0808 2389891 to cancel LIFECLEANSE with the UK company also.
I cancelled my credit card but they said it was my responsibility to cancel any subscriptions.
They are saying it could take 10 days to receive the item, but I will get charged $67 if I don’t return within 14 days. I have a return address of :BTB Mailflight Ltd.,

i to have been scammed but i reported my credit card stolen and am being issued another one with a diffrent number .
Hopefully they will not be able to draw any more money from my account as it has been cancelled .

I also got the free trial of Acai Burn, But i pulled a fast one over their heads, Afteri had paid for the shipping and handleing i read on a different web site that it was a scam. So the next day i went to my bank and reported that my card was stolen. LOL

I got cut up in this same bloody scam as well, i rang life cleanse and they have cancelled my subscription, i rang my bank to cancell my credit card so they would not be able to trake another money from my bank, but as i was talking to the man from life cleanse, he bloody put the phone down on me, anyway they wont be able to take any money from my bank anymore.

these guys have bloody ripped me off as well. When i first made a order they took money out of my account and took 2 weeks to send me my order but the worst thing is prior to my order being delivered i called them to cancel any future orders and they told me the order wasnt from them as they have no contact details for me so to them i didn’t exist but yet still when my order did arrive it had the word acai burn staring right at me. even to this day they still take money and say the same thing when i contact them that i dont exist, but i got i suprise for them, they are no different from somebody that mugs you in the street i think its fundamentally wrong that they are being allowed to rob people this way

I have just recieved my free trial through the post. I have noticed they have taken £7.49 from my account. This should have been a FREE trial. I’m not sure if I need to cancel any membership because I didn’t know I had joined any membership. I have stopped any further payments from my bank account and have filed a dispute for the £7.49. If this is a scam / fraud has nobody contacted the police or even the office of fair trade. Looking at these messages this has been happening for some time and is still happening today. I feel such a fool to be taken by this company. I will now wait and see if I get anything from Acaiburn.com, which by the way doesn’t exist. The return address is: Atlast Fullfilment, PO Box 1417, Bedford, MK41 5AL I would sugest everybody wrap a house brick in plain paper and send it to them Freepost then see how long they stay in business

i have been scammed too. absolutley sick. cancelled my card. hope that works to stop the thieving gets. bank was aware the scam is going on. why dont they stop it then. i think the house brick idea is great. lol
If it was a debit card, cancelling it will not stop the payments going out ofyour account. You must work with your bank on this one. If necessary close the account and open a new one straight away.

I phoned up customer services (USA – I live in UK) back in July and cancelled. However, ‘someone’ continued to take monthly payments from my credit card. I contacted my bank and they told me it is not as simple as cancelling your card. If you cancel your card or report it as stolen, the card will just remain dormant, and this scamming company will continue to take payments from it! They can do this because we gave the authorisation to do so (which we didnt) and because you will no longer receive statements on the cancelled card, you will not know they are still taking your money, and befoire you know it, you will eventually have a big bill to pay!
Anyhow, I have phoned USA again (several times infact) and spoke to someone from another scam company linked to acaiburn scammers. I cancelled whatever agrrment I was supposed to have signed up to, took a reference number and the ID of the rude man I spoke with.
I now have to wait until next month to see if it has stopped!
Yes, I have been scammed too – I live in Australia and have been unable to contact AcaiBurn “Customer Service Toll-Free Number or find an email or postal address details to send any correspondence to. I have contacted my bank who’ve put it in as a Disputed Item, so hopefully next month there won’t be a delivery (although after reading all of your complaints I am not holding my breath) however I would still like to put it in writing to them – does anyone know any other contact details I could use.

I have just managed to track down what once was known as Acai Burn or Acai Slim now trading as or scamming as maxacaiweightloss.com I finally managed to cancel an order which I stupidly placed in November 2009, after my credit card was debited over $500.00.
I have an Australian telephone number 1800 335 305. I phoned and the the marketer asked me for my telephone number with which I registered with and instantly confirmed my name and order number, she then promptly gave me a cancellation number, funnily at the same time I was on the telephone I found this web address premiumacaislim.com/contactus.php and spoke to an assistant via live web support and again the assistant confirmed the same cancellation number which was a little reassuring but didn’t solve my issue nor did it put any light on the fact that I have returned two months worth of product (sent with a cancellation letter to P.O.Box 4440Milperra NSW 1891) and I have still been charged regardless.
I was told no refund could be authorised without a tracking number, (perhaps I should have sent it by registered post) I explained that I sent it return with my order number and name address and telephone number surly from all that information they can cancel my order, no unfortunately not, I was told to take the matter up with email support contactable on; support@acaiburn.com fantastic I sent yet another email.
Unfortunately I can not stop any direct debit from my credit card as I apparently legally agreed to it when I ordered the free 14day trial, so I have made a written dispute with this bogus company with a return receipt and now I have a live chat log stating my cancellation number accompanied with my many emails I have sent to may different addresses and I am confident that this should be enough evidence for the bank to process my refund
Finally I have learnt a very valuable lesson and that is not to ever purchase anything over the internet again.
