Hi People, Hope all well
Do not know if the product is any good since i ordered it two weeks ago and still not received it. when i phone last night there 24 hour customer service line was closed as i was on hold for 45 on a 0844 tel number then send and email and got a reply that there office horus are, 9-5. got hrough today to the customer service line given on there werbsite http://www.meratol.com and spoke to a person who was unable to trace my order, and also was not fussed about it being late. after there 3-4 days promised delivery time. I then asked to speak to the supervisor and he said that he was the supervisor and he could not help me or giveme the tel number for customer service. then i asked for the manager and he told me that he was the manager… funny a manager who does not know his customer service number or are unable to trace my order… leaves alot to say about being proffesional… I told him that i would talk to my bank and get the transaction reveresed as fraud simce i have not received the promised item and they are unable to help me trace my order. Again “the manger” did not seem to be to concerned.. be very carefull about this company..

I received mine today after ordering what seems like ages ago. I think the customer services of this company is probably poor, but I would say don’t worry, you will get them eventually! I think they didn’t expect the uptake on Meratol since an article appeared in a newspaper. I only hope the follow on order (should it work) is not as slow. You would hope they would keep up the supply for existing customers. It’s hard to find a review which isn’t linked to Meratol, so who knows – but at £2.50 a week more than it costs to go to Slimming World/Weightwatchers, it’s certainly worth a go! Good luck to all ;o)
No matter how good the product is, their customer service is the worst i have come across. I placed an order more than 2 weeks ago and havent recieved it. I called the CS two days ago and was told to expect it yesterday as it has been dispatched. When i didnt recieve it, i just called the CS now and the adviser did not allow me to finish telling him my order number when he said ‘your order was dispatched yesterday and will be with you shortly’. I was stunned and told him i had called earlier and was told same thing only for him to insist on what he was saying.
I will like to hear from anyone who has bought from their website and how long it took the order to be delivered.
Hi, I must say that i found no problems with this company, i ordered on wednesday afternoon and recieved them on fri morning, thats pretty quick service i would say, the only thing i can think of in there defence is that it was right after christmas, when everyone wants to lose weight, and the article in the paper, not to defend them to much if this was the case they should have just said stock was low! anyhow would like to here if they actually work.
I ordered and paid for meratol on the 28th of december , despite phone calls and emails requesting my money back as the goods had not arrived, my request was ignored. I copied the daily express into an email i sent to meratol, as i originally read the article about the product in the express………… and the meratol arrived today 20th january 2011. Have been promised return calls …. they havent arrived. standard return email. I actually dont want the product now, as I dont feel you can trust the company they promised delivery within a week. then promised delivery the 1st week in january. They couldnt proovide a tracking number! And today the goods i dont want have now arrived. I would be very wary of this company as they do not follow up and deliver as promised! They seem happy to take money but then thats it I was promised my money would be refunded three days ago……….. im still waiting,

Mine took ages to come too but their customer service agents were great when I called twice and they said Royal Mail had lost some packages and they re-issued my order and said I could also keep the original package when they turned up and gave me a £5 voucher off my next purchase so I’ve found their customer service good so far. More importantly have lost 3lbs in 3 days with no change to my diet and no exercise so I’m impressed so far! No side effects either, can’t wait for my official weekly weigh in! Xx
I ordered on 4th January, was told the order was despatched on the 13th and am still waiting. Currently they are not even replying to my emails other than the current automated ‘we will respond within 24 hours’

Hi everyone. My meratol finally arrived today with a £5 voucher. It took more than i expected (I ordered on 29th Dec). I really hope it will be worth the wait though as i have quite alot of weights to lose. I will keep everyone informed. It is no scam afterall but the customer service is poor.
My delivery took 13 working days to arrive & I have been taking the capsules for 9 days now as well as dieting & have not lost an ounce. I would be very sceptical of the claims made as I have no faith in this product.
Hi, I have been taking this for 3 weeks and have lost 10lbs without feeling hungry, I am very happy with Meratol.
I ordered my product on the 30th December 2011. On the 7th January told it had been despatched and a week later, it still had not arrived. I wrote to their customer services and they said my order had been lost by the Royal Mail. They were despatching another one and if the original turned up, I could keep it as a gesture of goodwill.
It eventually turned up on the 18th January and I started using it on the 19th January.
IT DOES WORK !!!!!!
I am not the most active of people, but walk the dog a couple of times a week. I have altered my diet to include healthier foods and cut out the bacon sarnies (hmmm) and chocolate (doh) and so far the results have been very good. I have experienced no side effects, it curbs your appetite, but not in a bad way, when you know its time for a meal you have a controlable hunger and enjoy eating smaller portions. I feel vitalised and sleep a lot better than I did.
HOW MUCH HAVE I LOST ?
Well in the first week, I can attribute a loss of 7lbs to the pills, 2nd week 3lbs and 3rd week 3lbs, so after the initial kick start, it seems to have settled down to 3lbs a week. I am very happy with this, as it is east to do, no side effects and you really do feel better with the pills giving you the support you need to stick to eating healthier.
I have just placed my second order with the company and desperately hope they have improved on the deliveries.

My wife and myself have been taking these tablets for 3 weeks now and no weight loss at all on exactly the same diet, I think the people who do loose weight are just motivated by the tablets and change either diet or exercise more!
Update on customer service.
They appear to have things sorted now. I ordered a 3 month supply from them last Sunday, it turned up 2 days later. Hopefully they are over their initial teething problems and I have now lost another 3lbs. Am loving the Meratol.
Have taken Meratol for three weeks, with no weight loss. Very disappointing as it made such great claims. I guess it was just too good to be true.
I ordered late december and my order arrived 20 jan. I started taking the tablets straight away, and to date 3 March, have not lost an ounce!

I have tried these and have not lost an ounce. Unfortunately, I purchased these on promises that have not a hope of being kept. Such a shame and a real waste of money.
